Timmy Day

Today is, truly, a wonderful day. It's a day of gladness and a day of celebration. Most importantly, it's a day of remembrance. Many years ago, possibly around 20 years ago, my brothers and I were walking out to our family car. I quickly yelled "shotgun!" My brother ChuD, not missing a beat, quickly replied "what is this, Timmy Day?" I'm the youngest so really EVERY day is Timmy Day. But it felt right that day. Maybe it was because the day was starting off so strong. After all, we were on our way to a special event to celebrate someone's birthday already, I think it was maybe ChuD's. So ever since that day families across the nation gather around the hearth and celebrate Timmy Day. Because today is truly a day to remember a Bingham brother. It just feels right.

A young ChuD feigns terror, displays his ribs, and ignores Timmy.

(Happy Birthday, ChuD. I'm sorry I commandeered this day so many years ago. You're the best.)
